Sorry to hear, who do you use for service? UIA is up and running on the east side of town FYI.

We have Race. We took the 25mb plan. $38/mo includes their router. It's plenty for us with multiple computers going and streaming some movies. Service has been great. Customer service? Well, it's better than Frontier's customer service. We seldom need it. I have seen some local posts here about slower speeds. We haven't experienced that. The only think I'd do over is have the line run underground.

I'm pretty sure UIA and RACE do not overlap.
I have no comment as to their service since it's just not relevant.
Big fan of UIA.

What speeds do you get and how much does it cost?
I am not sure what plan we have but this is a speedtest of my RACE service this morning. It does slow down some in the evening.
The cost is $60/month for internet. I also have phone service for an additional $24/mo. I use my own router.

Are you on wifi? I just tested mine on a hard wired computer and got this.

My brother was visiting at Christmas and was saying my internet was slow on his android tablet, it was a pretty recent one and he was getting much slower speeds than my 5 year old iPad.
My hardwired computers always get higher speeds than my wifi devices.

Yes. On WIFI. Also, not sure how many other devices were also on the WIFI at the same time.

I just tested on my 5th generation iPad and got 544Mbps down and 446Mbps up, that is about normal for my iPad, I am using the router that Race provided. Newer devices that support Wifi 6 will probably be nearly as fast as a hard wired connection, I don't have any to test it though.

Thanks lwt42! I'm on Charter and got 470 Mbps download speed. Upload isn't nearly as good, but I only need to upload a video once a week. It's adequate for that.
