Title: Destructive garden rodent
Post by: Wrightwood on Jul 08, 23, 10:47:07 PM
This fairytale pumpkin plant was doing great with plenty of large leaves. In 2 days it was nearly stripped clean. I put out a trail cam and a few hours knew who the culprit was. Now to catch the destructive rodent!

Will catch a dozen overnight.  You can relocate or_______.  Can also use Havahart live trap as well.

Caught in the act!
After adding a chicken wire cage they still got to the pumpkin leaves. Looks like there's a pair of them. 1 down ;)

We've got the ground squirrels bad this year as well.  We have had beautiful tulips and daffodils every spring for years, never had an issue.  This year every single bulb got dug up.  They started to eat away at our garden and our grape vines.  Enough is enough.  We have the Havaheart trap going.  Catching these little buggers non stop.  We've been relocating them down big pines hwy.
