Recently some Big Horn Sheep have been spotted and photographed by local hikers.
Here's a sample.

Great shot! In the 1960s and 1970s my son and I did a lot of hiking between Baldy Village and Mount Baldy. We never did see any wild big horned sheep. We came upon steaming urine, but no sheep. Finally, coming down the canyon on I-15 from St. George, UT was a family of big hornned sheep, right along side of the freeway grazing on a small patch of grass.
