Too bad they misquoted the total area burned.
-
Well thanks justa...
I did not write the story, just supplied the picture, they did talk to Pam, maybe you need to call Leroy...
-
Angelwolf, Congrats on getting the photo published!!
:2thumbsup:

Why so nasty? Everybody else was so nice... ???
My post was about both....
Sorry but I was kinda excited to have a picture published. As a photographer trying to get established is is quite exciting.....
As I said, I did not write the story. Leroy Standish did and if the fact are not correct maybe you should contact him...
Have a nice day!!! :)
Thanks,
Danna

Nice backpeddle. I was not knocking you nor being nasty. Sorry I rained on your parade. ::) I was merely making a point regarding the article.
-
Way to go Angelwolf........Great photo!

-
No backpedaling here and it's not raining.
Just curious why you are so hostile towards me?
I haven't got a clue?
-
Also wrong, the burn was not in the San Bernardino mountains. It was in the San Gabriel Mountains.
-
The reporter needs a wake up call!!! ;D
And the photographer needs a raise ;)
-
LOL...
I've seen this reporter's name before..... you think he would know these things....
Thanks Funky and WWMtnGal....

That's why a picture is worth a thousand words.Hard to get the wrong image but easy to put in the wrong words. ::)

Don't let um rain on your parade. Its a great
picture photograph and you got a "by line." Many of your photographs are worthy of publication. Keep up the good work and I'll keep enjoying them.
-
Congo rats! Nice pic...I read the article and didn't even catch it was your pic...Keep sending them in.
-
Great Job!! I agree, it is VERY exciting when your first picture is published. Only a photographer realizes how many pictures you have taken, and all the hard work that comes before a picture is published! I am so happy for you :2thumbsup: :2thumbsup:
-
Stupid writer..great photographer!!
:2thumbsup:
My sincerest congratulations!!
I can only imagine how exciting that must be!
-
Way 8) Angel!! Well done. :2thumbsup:

Well, I think it all depend on how you read the article.... I took it as they entire project area was 3600 acres--which, if you take in ALL the units I believe that is accurate. The actual treatment acres for this particular burn was less--but it was my understanding that the treatments would be rotated throughout the entire 3600 acre treatment acres. Now, the headline is a little misleading--but the person who writes the article is not the person who writes the headlines....
