Title: Mt High vehicle fire

Wrightwood Fire Station 101 has contained a vehicle fire that spread into the vegetation near Mt High East.

SB County and LA County CHP are saying that it's not in their jurisdiction  ???

9:20PM   SOLO VEH TC - FD HAS NOT ADV D IF ANY INJURIES - BUT DRIVER IS HBD

If it's near Mountain High East it's LA County (Antelope Valley CHP)

The driver lost control of his vehicle and landed on top of vegetation and continued trying to drive when the vegetation caught on fire.

Fortunately the vegetation was contained to a small spot due to the quick response and actions of Wrightwood Fire Station 101.
 
It appeared that the accident was alcohol related and that was why it was important to get CHP on scene. A CHP unit was on Hwy 2 at the county line but couldn't cross over - out of district lines to assist.
