Title: Amateur Radio Changes - Morse Code Dropped

The FCC released a Report and Order and Order on Reconsideration today, Tuesday, December 19, 2006.  The order, among other things, removes the Morse Code requirment from all license requirements.

NOTE:  The order becomes effective 30 days from publication in the Federal Register.  Publication has not yet occurred.

study up and take your test to upgrade to your general license and you dont have to pass the code!
