Title: Can you ID this garden plant?

These plants came up on their own accord--their seeds were probably from the compost:

The round leaves are wild ginger, Asarum sp.

The pretty white flowers are wild or Mexican petunia, Ruellia probably brittonia and are considered an invasive species in Florida. You can see the strap-like leaves in the lower right of the middle image. It drops its leaves when cold or dry.

Lucky you storm, the only thing that we have been getting, that we did not plant, is lots of mushrooms from the Mtn Hardware planting mix. Have not had the courage to taste them and see if they are poisonous  or not. ;)

storm should have the women flocking over to get some of his ginger as I've been hearing that is the ticket for hot flashes  8)

Sorry that I neglected to mention that the round leaves and white flowers are the same plant, which is climbing up (vine) neighboring shrubbery with long, slender tendrils.  I still think it may be a garden vegetable.  I wish I had ginger growing!

Many species of small white and brown mushrooms have come up this summer in my garden beds.  My watering regime has even awakened a small batch of large, edible Neolentinus mushrooms out of a railroad tie.  If it weren't for the possibility of the wood having been soaked in creosote or another toxic chemical, they'd be culinary history by now!

Ok, I'll bite (arr, arr!). It would be helpful if we could have a diameter on the flower and leaves. Also, are all of the leaves roundish, there are some in pic #3 which are tomato-ish, so I assume that's another plant?

All the leaves are rounded and are about 7" wide.  The flowers are 4" wide...

Could it be a variety of Nasturtiums? If they are, the entire plant is edible.
