Howdy Jim,

The sled is running great.  I've got 600 miles on it without any problems.  But how's 4 miles to the gallon sound when highmarking?

This last weekend was some of the best riding I've ever done.   With just a little more snow we'll easily be riding for 2 more months.  Last season we had to trailer the sleds to the snow,, This season we're riding right out of the garage.

I'll be up the last weekend of March, we need to go for ride.  Have you been down to Reds Meadow this season?

gas prices are getting ugly and could start to put a damper on the economy in the Eastern Sierra.  Cheapest gas is still at the Indian Casino.

Bob

btw, about 4:30 Sunday we were chillin' at the top of our highmark when we watched this plane make an emergency landing (crash) right below us. It was apparent he was having engine problems and put it down between 395 and Crowley Lake..  The guy made a pretty good crash landing and both the pilot and passenger walked away... see link below..

Bob,
I haven't been down towards reds meadow for 2 years, it would be nice to go down this next trip. After that we will be up on 4/18 to ride the lakes when it opens up. I will email you the week before we come up. Jim
