I enjoy reading classifiers! I am always looking for items for my projects. The garage sale week-end is great fun in Wrightwood, but we have the ability to continue this year round with the free classified section of this wonderful web site. How can we get others to utilize it more? Any ideas?

To post a FREE classified ad just click on the words "Free Classifieds" under the mountains and it will step you through it. Paid advertising is available in the business guide and banner ads are also available.

Looking over WrightwoodCalif.com statistics indicate a great number of visitors view our Free Classified section.
Many people, including myself, have bought and sold items on our Free Classified section. Be sure to check regularly if you're a bargain hunter, as many items go quickly.
If you have something to sell, it's FREE with many items selling quickly.

I keep trying to advertise my Carol Burnett videos in the Classifieds, and I registered, but it tells me: "Your profile is not active at this time. You will receive an email with instructions on activating your profile shortly. You may not use this feature until your profile has been activated." I've been waiting and have not received any further instructions. What am I doing wrong?

Just to clarify - the login for the classifieds is different than the Forum login information.
You must use the registration button on the Classified page to get login information.
I just tested it and the email is sending new user login information along with activation code.
It is critical that a good email address is used in order to receive the activation code.

Good luck finding him/her a home. Whoever takes him needs to know that they can get very large (My son had an iguana 5 feet long, including the tail) and they have to be handled frequently to keep them friendly, otherwise they will whip their tail (which smarts) and can bite (as my son can attest to - he got it when it was already quite large and had it in an 8-foot cage). They need heat - and obviously a large cage as they grow. They can make good pets if handled frequently, given proper heat, and plenty of growing room.
That reminds of me when I got a call from his high school principal one day - that my son was walking around campus with the 5-foot iguana on his back. As you can imagine, that was the last time he brought an animal to school (which he often did at the request of one of his science teachers)

:wavey: About 9 months ago I found a shoe box on the center divider of one of Riversides busiest streets.....in the box were 5 very tiny kittens.
I have found homes for all but two.
I have two female long haired, domestics. One is blonde and the other is tortoise shell. Both are spayed. Both have had complete medical exams and both have had their first year shots. Both are litter box trained.
These cats stated out life on a rotten note, but they are in good shape now!
It would be great if someone out there would give both a home that can continue to love them and care for them.

Ok, time for me to post this again because I'm trying desperately to find this little guy a home. I can't take care of him the way I want to and he needs a new home as soon as possible so he can acclimate while he's still young and not set in his ways. He does not whip with his tail and doesn't try to bite unless he's hungry and when he does it's cute, not painful. I bought him a bunch of stuff for his home so he's set up nicely and all I wanted was to find a way to be reimbursed for what I spent on his home (the lamps, the accessories, etc) but right now I'm more interested in finding him a good home and less interested in being compensated. If anyone knows of anyone who is interested... he really is a sweet guy but needs to be handled more and taken care of better than what I can provide to him. Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested so we can work on bettering his quality of life.

A very nice WW lady has adopted Blondie, one of the kittens left in a shoebox on a busy street in Riverside. I still have one kitten that needs a home. RASCAL (the name fits!)[/color] is a tortoise shell, long hair domestic. She is spayed, is current on all shots and is litter box trained. I have another cat that needs a good home. This cat is approximately 5 years old. Female, grey, long haired domestic.
She is current on her shots, is spayed, and, is de-clawed.
She is a very lovable animal and would make a great IN DOOR pet. She dislikes being around other animals, but loves to be around people, held, told how beautiful she is, and, brushed.
This is a Wrightwood cat!! She grew up with my grand daughter who lives in WW.

We have an almost new dryer for sale. I say almost new because it has been used maybe a total of 7 times. We purchased this dryer from Lowes and then moved to Wrightwood shortly after that. Since we have gas up here we could no longer use it. It has been sitting in storage for about 6 yrs. I have pictures if your interested. It is white and its a whirlpool. $200 (would consider a trade if you have something we need). :o) Would consider trading for something like a trampoline, amusement park tickets, camping gear, dog stuff, stuff for kids. opps, forgot to put that in: 235,000. It needs one rear tire and one hindge on the trunk is shot..but it closes nicely. No other damage but that little ding in the photo of the right front corner panel.There is a little faded paint area on the roof, but you have to get on top of it to really notice.

I guess you really need to be aware of purchasing electronic items from Craigs list. We purchased a receiver and dish, both don't work. We checked serial numbers with Dish first, all was fine, except for not working (finding out later). I guess this guy needed the money more than us?

I would hesitate to buy online, and if I am not mistaken I believe Dish leases out the boxes. Not just any box works for the service. I have 2 recievers that I used when I had Directv however they were not able to use them when i transfered to Dish.
Just a side note: I hate my Dish service, and plan to switch back to Directv as soon as my contract is up

The way I work with advertised merchandise is 'first come, first served.' The buyer may have had an earlier appointment, I don't know. I'm sorry about your disappointment on the merchandise being sold.
A sure sale now is always better than a possible sale later, that is always good business ethics, IMHO.

I posted an ad in the "Free Stuff" section about 2-1/2 weeks ago, and got a response today and the items now have a new home! I actually figured out how to delete my ad, too! This a great way to find new homes for items, without going through the pains of having a yard sale. Thanks for having this feature! :)

Hi -- I have a friend who's looking to rent a small house. She has 2 dogs and needs something under $1000 a month. She can move in as soon as her app is approved. She prefers WW because she's already up here, but is willing to go to Phelan or Pinion Hills. However, she does not have a car and would need something within walking distance of a grocery store or close to a bus route.

Did something happen with the classifieds recently? I've posted quite a few ads in the past and never had a problem but when I just went to post a couple new ones, it couldn't find my email address as a registered user. I had to re-register?! Were they re-set in the last 6 months or so (that's about how long its been since I've posted)?

snwbnny nothing has changed with the free classified other than the number of spam postings that are attempted. For each good local ad there are at least 20 out of country attempts. Since each ad is screened before it's approved it does take a couple of days for me to review each ad.

I had the exact same problem. My initial ads were lost prior to approval and then my e-mail address wasn't recognized when I attempted to resubmit them. It all worked out eventually but I think you have a glitch somewhere in the system.

I have some Advantage for cats (0-9 lbs). Each box has 6 doses (new/unused products) I have 2 boxes that I will sell for 45 bucks a box. That's a pretty good deal!!!
Also, I have one box of Frontline Plus for cats & kittens (6 doses) That I will sell for 65 bucks for the box (new/unused product).
I bought them for some abandoned rabbits that we took in to deflea them. I didn't need as much as I thought I would.

The program does purge inactive user accounts after 90 days. That helps eliminate the large number of spam users that sign up.

The Free Classified sections works but the spam postings from other countries is more dominate than real local ads.
Here's tonight stats when the newly posted ads were reviewed:
There were 59 new (spam) ads deleted and 7 (local merchandise) activated.

It's in the backyard of my new cabin and I don't need it or want it there. Has to be less than 9 years old and still looks pretty new. It's about 10'x12' and has a work bench inside. I am selling off some of my cake decorating supplies (cake pans) to help pay for very expensive needed medication for my kitty. I was a cake decorating instructor for years and have collected many of the Wilton character cake pans. Included are: Huggable Bear, Candy Cane, Cross, 3-D House, 3-D Wonder Doll, 3-D Rubber Ducky, Jack O Lantern, Star, Flower Power, Sponge Bob Square Pants, Bob The Builder, Bunny, and Ballet Slippers. Many of the pans have never been used and the rest only once for class demos. They are all in excellent condition. I am asking $10.00 a pan (that's at least half of the price brand new for many of the pans). Several pans are retired and are difficult to find these days. I have a '05 Black Ford Focus ZX3 SE hatchback for sale. I've been using it to commute up and down the hill for the past few years. We're moving down the hill and I no longer need it. It's got more miles than you're looking for, but what the heck...maybe that's OK w/ you for the price.
Stats: 76,000 miles, Auto transmission, air, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, nice new wheels. Clean Carfax when I bought it - didn't keep a copy though. No accidents or anything since I've owned it. It is a Ford Certified Pre-owned car, so it has the remainder of the special powertrain (engine & trans at least) warranty that comes with that. It's good until July of 2011, or 100,000 miles whichever comes first. It's transferable one time...so the warranty will go to you, but not the next person, and it has a $50 deductible. I don't think there's a charge to transfer the warranty. It's good insurance to have in case you worry about the condition of a used car. I had the transmission rebuilt under warranty a year or two ago and a $1500-$2000 repair cost me $50. I think the Ford dealer was looking for some busy work, so I got a rebuild out of it. It has an inexpensive aftermarket stereo (less attractive to theives, but front USB input and HD radio built-in) and some Pioneer speakers from the first owner. I put the fog lights on for dark nights and bad weather in the pass. I half-assed them (pending moving), so I can remove them upon request. I average 29 MPG, but have seen as high as 32 MPG.
Problems:
It wasn't pretty when I bought it...I didn't care as it was a commuter car and I didn't want to worry about "prettyness" driving on the cinders when it snowed in the pass. Little dings and scratches. Upon doing the first oil change (I've done 95% of them on this car - always synthetic oil at roughly 5000 mile intervals since) I noticed the bumper had been replaced and painted black. I got the Ford dealer I purchased it from to admit that the original owner's bumper had a tear in it and they put a new one on. But the replacement was a yellow one that they painted black...so you see the commuter miles on the bumper where the little paint chips from rocks are yellow underneath. It has a vibration @ 70+ MPH. I intended to get the tires roadforce balanced, but the move negated the need to do that. I replaced all of the shocks and struts, strut mounts and strut top bushings with OEM Ford parts a few months back - cost quite a bit of money but it rides great now. I hadn't gotten around to aligning it after the shocks (pending moving), so that may be the source of the vibration.
Pictures of the car on The Crest. You can see a couple things I've added to the car to spruce it up...the chrome trim on the trunk is normally from an older higher model Focus, the chrome tailpipe cover is OEM Ford, the silver front grill was only offered in other countries. I replaced the black lower half of the dash with light gray pieces only offered on non-black models. I think the interior pieces look better, but I can put the black pieces back if you like. I have no pictures of the interior, but there are no holes in the seats or anything silly like that. Some little stains here and there mostly from the previous owner. If you're really interested, I can give it a vacuum and take a couple pictures, and send you the VIN.
It's a great car for what it's for...I wouldn't sell it, but the apartments we're moving to wont let us own three cars. $7000 or best offer. Can't go much lower than that.

I have a dis-assembled king size hardwood framed waterbed (no headboard) I'm giving away. It's in good shape, just needs to be put back together- easy to figure out as I've done it twice) It also needs a mattress (Ebay has them new for about $150)... I do have a mattress pad/cover for it you can have.
I'm having trouble finding the bag of screws for it, but they are pretty standard... hopefully, I will find them in the next few days while packing up to move.

i'm looking for a small camping trailer. over the summer i've looked at many small trailers,seen a lot of junk and met a lot of liars. i've had luck posting want ads here, maybe this time too.
here's what i'm looking for, a 15-16 foot travel trailer, with or without a head. it needs to be in ready to go condition, no leaks,good roadworthy tires,all glass and vent covers. a few easily fixed imperfection are expected.
doesn't need to be beautiful, but can't be so ugly it brings down the property value in my 'hood. inside needs to be clean and usable, cushions aren't real important, but if they're not all torn up, that's a +.
basically it needs to be something you wouldn't have a problem spending a week in and not be all creeped out. if you hook me up with a lead and i buy it, i'll pay a $50.00 finders fee.
i'll pay up to $2000 for the right trailer.

I ordered a Haier HLP21N, because my house is pretty small and our water arrives in a truck, and most hardware stores have machines "on sale" that cost $800. or much more. I ordered the machine through Target online, and at the time it was about $210.00; I forget about shipping cost. My hub and I were able to easily heft it into the back of our Nissan. I can lift it by myself, and I got a wheeled planter-dolly so I could just wheel it easily around the kitchen. It has a stainless steel tub, simple controls and has been happily washing everything for a year and a half. It does about one-half to one-third of a load that most home washers would do, but with it right in my house it hasn't been inconvenient. And I use a lot less water than any full-size washer.
She'll still need a dryer, but they're often cheaper used than used washers......and clotheslines are much cheaper still! Just a thought - I hope she finds something that will work for her.

That sounds like a possible temporary fix.
Laundry drying bars can always be set up as a temporary fix, also.
It's tough with kids. They produce dirty laundry out of thin air.

I have a very nice Lowepro camera back pack for sale. I bought it a couple years ago to use for taking my camera gear out to photograph the Big Horns. I ended up never using it due to other weekend commitments. It is new out of the box sitting in my closet doing nothing. Very good condition.
The only thing that is barely noticeable since I bought it is that it is slightly less bright than it used to be. I replaced the bulb and there are only about 100 hrs on it. I still have the remote as well as the user/product guide.

i have a clean, good working set of Mile Marker manual locking hubs for a toyota truck. (check out the pic. for years and models). i used these for 2 snow seasons and a little bit of 4 wheeling. they've never given me a problem, i just changed over to Asian hubs, so don't need these.
if your Toyota doesn't have manual hubs this is a super easy to do upgrade. adding manual hubs will save you gas and un-needed wear on drive train components.
i want $50.00 for the set. they come in the original box with hardware and instructions.

i have a really cool vintage tool set to sell. these were made from the early to late '60s. it's basically a ShopSmith in a sewing machine sized carry case. all the pieces are there and the motor sounds smooth.
this is a great tool to have if you like to go RVing or boating and want to have a shop along for hobbies or repairs. it does all the basic functions you'll need and in a super small easy to store package.

The tire is a P255/70 R 16 and the chains fit it just fine. We have tensioners (sp) too. We no longer have the Diesel, so the spare and chains gotta go.

How much, TLC? Our TV weighs about a hundred pounds and we're afraid to put it on anything in case of earthquakes, so it's sitting on the floor. Been meaning to get a flatscreen for some time but new they seem like such a waste of money.

It was free but is gone now. There is a difference between a flat screen and flat panel. The older models are flat screen as was this one. The flat panel I purchased uses less electricity and has places on the unit to adhere it to the wall in case of earthquakes. My advice - take risks, put it on a stand and enjoy your tv. I'm not going to jinx us by saying the odds on a quake happening and your tv falling are fairly slim but......

This may be a strange request but we're looking for a single 8 ft metal fence post (like for chain link fencing) that we can use for a tetherball from Santa. I didn't even think about going to get one while the kids were still in school - now I have no way to buy one without them with me! If you don't get one here and depending how opaque it has to be, Home Depot has fairly opaque shade cloth in various lengths AND colors at 5 or 6' width. I attached it on the chain link using black (UV resistant) zip ties.

- Two ceiling fans / light fixtures. These are the 3-light, wood look ceiling fans.
- One chandelier - this is the 3-light kind that hangs from your ceiling, not a fancy glass or crystal thing.
- Rainsoft Water Softener. This is a whole-house water softener. Not sure of it's age, but it works fine. The timer needs to be replaced, but you can start it manually with the push of a button. We usually push the button abouy 3x a week; your needs will depend on the amount of water you use.

My friend's baby (18 mo old) has been diagnosed with a unique, severe form of Mitochondrial Myopathy http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=6374 . He physically benefits from being in people's spas and doing some physical therapy. Things are exceptionally financially tight for them and could in no way buy their own spa. Since I have read in the pennysaver, craigslist, etc of people getting rid of old but functioning spas for the price of "please come and pick it up--its yours!" I thought I would see if there is anyone in the tri-community area who would like to give away an old but functioning spa/hot tub to a local family who would use it.

Just missing the two rear speakers, which my cat mistook for scratching posts, and the DVDs take a long time to read, which is either a sign that the laser is dying or needs to be cleaned. Still works, though.

There are people out there who prefer these kind of TVs to the newer ones. You might be able to make some cash on it on ebay...maybe craigslist if you're industrious.

We're selling our 4runner.
2001 Toyota 4runner SR5, 4wd, V6, 3.4L, auto, cd/cassette, tow pkg, 230k miles, trans rebuilt 2 years ago. Silver exterior, gray cloth interior. $4000. Not a salvage title. It runs fine - I drive it everyday but it needs some work: tires are very low, electrical needs to be gone through (dog chewed through wires under dash so fuses keep blowing), belts squeal, there is a shudder or hesitation & the OBD code shows "cylinder misfire". It's priced low because we don't know specifically what repair it requires and great running 4runners w/4wd are at least 9k so you're getting a great deal if you want to do a little work. I already bought something bigger so I'm not putting any money into this one. I am not even smogging it. I have clear title in hand. Registration is good till 2013.

We had to cut down a tall juniper.. well, technically it fell down and crashed on a roof. Not sure you
would want to burn juniper wood.. but there are some nice stumps and some long branch pieces you
could use for garden beds. All are cleaned of green branches. Oh, and its FREE!! Fairly easy access to
it .. as in its about 20 or so feet from one of our driveways. We're in Pinon Hills on Green Rd.

Iris: Try Best Appliance in Hesperia. I bought a used washer from them. I offered cash and they gave me a discount to boot. Have had the washer for about 3 years now and it works like a gem and was a VERY reasonable price for used. They have many fridges to choose from and they deliver.

Bump: Still have pots for sale.. I likely did not mention that some of them have plants in them. Some cacti.. some succulents.. large (depending on your definition . . will not fit in the back seat of compact.. unless it is a convertible with the top down).. some small. Most will not live outside up here in the winter. But, hey... if you just use your place in WW for weekends... some of these cactus are for you. You know,, a bit of green for when you make it back up and not much to worry about with the water. Still have some empty large pots.. get a start now on your hydroponic garden for next spring. Place a cactus in front of that cabinet you don't want your renters to go into. Or better yet..inside it.

The main one is a pot belly pig, but there are also two goats, a llama and alpaca that could use it as well. All except the pig have a barn they can go into, although it isn't warm. The person who owns them said she wasn't going to get them any bedding to keep warm, she said they were fine last year without any. :( But I can see how cold and miserable they are and she was fine with me getting some.

I can save up alfalfa droppings for you in bags. I don't have that much right now.. but I will. PM me if you're interested.

Can you use loose stuff or does it need to be baled? I usually have lots of hay on the ground where it is stored until I get around to raking it up & throwing in the dumpster. I'm sure I'm not the only one...if you have a truck maybe you can go around to a few ppl with horses and get their scraps?

Free full-size fridge in WW. Was in the house when I moved in.... I ran it once for 24 hrs, it works but didn't get super cold. Maybe I didn't run it long enough or needs new freon (?)..... Too big for my kitchen anyway.

FREE Beautiful, Commercial-Grade Artificial Christmas Tree. It's 9' tall and about 5' wide at base when set up. It already has lots of white lights, so all you have to do is add your ornaments.
Current owners separate the sections to get it in and out of house, but put it back together and store it standing in the garage. There is no box or other storage container.

From my research it looks like it fits the 2wd GMC/Chevy trucks or suburbans. The tire is a Michelin XW4 and the size is 235/75/15. The rim is 15x7, 5 on 5" bolt pattern. Asking $65.
AND . . . My dad is selling a Big Tex Grill Guard by Go Industries for sale. Brush Guard came off of a 2004 Ford F350 4x4. Will fit any '99-'04 Ford Super Duty F250/350/450/550 or '00-'04 Ford Excursion. Part # is 77640. Instruction sheet available. From what I read, this guard will not work for the Harley model. Asking $200 OBO. These sell for over $550 brand new. We also have the chrome bug guard from same truck if you would like that too. Silver 2006 Toyota Camry LE 4-door sedan with just 16,900 miles, in excellent condition. This was my mom's car; it was garaged for the first 6 years, and parked outside in Victorville the past year while she lived in the retirement home. Only driven to doctor appointments and the store.

a couple of months ago i started getting into modifying air guns for higher FPS, so i bought this chronograph. then i realized i don't hunt and the paper targets don't care how fast the pellet is going. so here it is for sale. been used 2-3 times, still looks and works like new, includes everything it came with.

We have 2 high quality sitting chairs and a queen bed frame with wicker head and for boards.
Sitting chairs are grey blue with a high back and arm rests. The base frame is wood and the upholstery is very durable. The chairs are in excellent condition. $100 OBO.
The bed frame is from IKEA and has a wood slat base so no box spring base is necessary. The frame is metallic grey with then wicker head and for boards. Free! You pick up and carry away.

i have a nice set of vintage "Bear Paw" style snowshoes to sell. these are usable, but are probably best as wall hangers. all the webbing is in excellent condition as well as the leather bindings. i bought these about 10 years ago off of eBay. at that time there were antique stores here in town (no longer in business, wonder why) selling old snow shoes for $120-$180. i want $60.00 for mine. they are 30 inches long and 14 inches wide.

Christmas Village/Winter Scene Village for the PC among us... I have this absolutely lovely Christmas village set that my Mom built & collected (this is not vintage/antique stuff). We would set it up under the tree each Christmas. I will never set it up again.. my knees can't take it anymore (plus cats ya know). I would like to donate it to one of our local libraries or any other public space where children can enjoy it. I think my Mom would like that idea. i'm looking for a bicycle trailer. i'd like a B.O.B Yak single wheel as first choice. it would need to be in pretty rough shape, because i don't want to pay a bunch. if you have one in good shape that's OK too, but i'm limited to 100 bucks. i'd also consider home built single wheel trailers or a super cheap 2 wheeler. i don't need the little tent like thing, just the frame and wheels, if it's a 2 wheeler.

Do you wear a size 6 1/2 narrow shoe? If so, I have two really killer pairs of boots that were my Mom's. One pair is classic Western show boots. The other pair is suede that above the calf high. Both have heels. The suede boots have chaps that match for a small woman. They do not look like they've been worn. That is likely because Mom wore a size 8 and couldn't admit her foot had expanded. All offers will be considered. They likely cost her well over a hundred or more when she bought them.

I am laughing... I have three vacuums here that are capable of doing different tasks. Because I need all those tasks.. you can borrow one .. but you can't keep it forever. We'll call it 'semi-permanent loan' for now. It is a Hoover cannister. I also have a Hoover steam cleaner that needs a bit of repair. That is yours for the asking.
I am so on a roll here to clean stuff out. So, guys.. send me your wish lists. I more than likely have it and don't use it.

I have a somewhat rare Fuji folding bike that was a promotional item for Marlboro back in the 90s. It's in really good shape, with new looking tires. It needs one minor part for the front brakes, otherwise it's all there. This is a 15 spped bike and it could probably use a tune up. This bike is worth having if it's only for the ironic fact that it's a mountain bike (think health), with a Marlboro sticker on it. On the practical side, if you are an RVer or someone with not much room for a regular bike, this is awesome, and NOT one of those folding clown bikes with 20 inch wheels, this bike is full sized with 26 inch wheels.

Click on the screen/picture graphic and it will put IMG on both sides of the URL. When you hit post, your picture will appear. I'll copy your picture location and paste it here.

Free freshwater adult peacock cichlid. I believe this to be a female peacock cichlid. She is over a year old, about 3-4 inches. I got her because as a young fish she had a peach color. Now she is a lovely, calm fish, but is a boring striped medium brown color. She can hold her own in a big tank of assorted african cichlids. I need the room because the others just keep having babies.
Maybe you know what kind she is? To adopt you must have a large tank (55 gallons minimum) and have a potential mate for her.

Hmm, as a good citizen on this board I posted my 'free twin mattress' ad on the free classifieds a few days ago, and it is there and approved, but I don't know how to find it if you are not looking for it.
Today, when I checked, there were three items to be found, but none of those the mattress, which I would have expected to see under 'free stuff'.
It also appears that this thead has become the free classifieds itself and not, as originally intended, to discuss increasing the use of the 'free classifieds' section on this site.

I have a pile of 2 meter radio gear that I doubt I'll ever use again. This stuff is my personal station so I know it all works. You'll basically have everything you need for a base a mobile and hand held 2 meter setup. There's a Radio Shack HTX-242, a Radio Shack HTX-200 handy talky with generic speaker mic., Kenwood SW-100 watt/SWR meter that covers VHF and UHF (you'll need this to tune your antennas), a Cushcraft Ringo Ranger base antenna, Radio Shack duel band (2m/70cm) glass mount mobile antenna (people will say these are junk,specially people who have never used one, they work as good as a mag mount, and don't screw up the finish), an Astron RS20M 20 amp power supply, and about 30 feet or so of Amphenol RG8 A/U coax for base use. I don't have the mounting bracket for the HTX-242 and you'll need to attach a PL259 to the end of the coax (no problem, you're a HAM). Other than that all you'll need is electricity.

All my CD collection of about 300 is housed in a Sony Megastore 300CD player so that I never had to pull one CD out of its case an put it in the player - very convenient!
But I haven't touched that machine in a long time and maybe there is somebody who would appreciate that more.
Now, I want to lighten the load and sell it - I would give it away, but that would be too much for my soul :-)
So, 300 CD and the player for 300 bucks - anybody?
Your question would be - what CDs are those?
At one point I had a list and I might still have that, but I don't know where it is. I could take each and every CD out and make a new list - but that is too much work for what I am asking - so I give you a general idea - quite a bit of classical and then what an old baby boomer who started to collect music in the 70s has been listening. Never was into hard rock - so there should be none or little of that - melodic rock - singer/song-writer - the works. And as we had a little guy at the beginning of the 2000s, there are also some kids and baby CDs in there.
The only thing missing is the remote. But you can pick one up on ebay or use your universal remote to use with this device.

if you use your laptop/notebook mobile this is for you. instead of using an inefficient power inverter and the 110VAC power supply that came with your laptop, use this. this power supply plugs into a 12VDC cigarette lighter and converts 12VDC over to 15-19VDC, depending on which tip you use. that means you can sit outside someplace with wi-fi and keep your device charged while you are using it. this is the way to go if you're an RVer, no power sucking inverter and no obnoxious generator. this power supply is new, never used. i bought 2 of these and it turns out i only need one.

Location: Must be available to work in Wrightwood for the current vacancy.
Working Conditions: Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions such as high temperatures, with exposure to sunlight and varying weather conditions that could include snow/ice. Applicants must be able to perform heavy manual labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions; must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and have the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend over, and crawl for extended periods in the performance of job duties for this position.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience: Six (6) months of (full-time equivalent) paid work experience in landscaping, facilities maintenance or custodial experience.
AND

been wanting to check your manliness by riding a fixie? here's your chance to do it for cheep. you can even just push (which it seems very popular among fixie "riders") it to give that so cool image. this frame has almost horizontal dropouts, a true fixed rear hub (so you can't fake it), already cut down bars, tires that hold air, and a new chain. all you need to do is tighten the chain ring, put on your messenger bag, and add your seat, if you're into seats. otherwise it has a nice seat post to sit on.

We got a nice 14 feet trampoline a while back and last winter during a big wind it flew into the trees - guess a 14 feet circle makes a good wing.
We got it out but two of the elements were bent/broken. I got all the info to get replacement parts but the main user of it will be a senior in high school and leave the nest soon, so we were debating to throw it out or repairing it, tending more towards throwing out.
But I thought maybe there is somebody around here who would like to have all the part from us for free, just the get replacement parts to fix it up and end up with a big trampoline for 20-40 bucks....

I've saved pennies for about 25-30 years, and recently started to put them in rolls. So far I have 60 bucks worth rolled up. If you are a copper collector or looking for rare pennies these are for you. I'd bet (no guaranties) that there are many solid copper pennies in these, way better chance than getting them from a bank, for sure. Give me three 20 dollar bills and they are yours. A few years back I inherited a mobility scooter but did not really use it.
Now after sitting there for a while the two batteries (looks like motor cycle batteries) are most likely dead.
But if you want to invest in new batteries, you could have the scooter just for picking it up.

When I got the scooter I invested in a carrier rack for it (similar to https://www.walmart.com/ip/Silver-Spring-SC400-V2-Hitch-Power-Scooter-Wheelchair-Carrier-Rack/29389754). I don't need that any longer if the scooter goes, so I will part with this rack for hundred bucks.

Years ago I bought a Trikke because that looked like one of the best exercises you could get.
And it worked pretty nicely but life got difficult and I just could not ride it any longer.

Free drums. I have 2 Djembe's and a suitcase drum set with kick, snare, and high hat. Don't get around to playing them anymore and they are taking up to much space. They gotta go.
One Djembe is a Meinl. Perfect condition. I think it's a 9".
The other Djembe I got in Niger Africa and it is hand carved and about 14". It has a natural goat skin head that has torn.
The suitcase kit is neat. It all packs away into the suitcase. Hi-hat, snare, and kick pedal. The kick pedal attaches to suitcase to make the kick drum.

Free weights
Hi All,
I have a bunch of free weights for sale. I have a squat rack with barbell and the plates to go with it and a bench. The weights start at 45lb plates, down to 5 lb plates. I believe the total weight amount if you stacked the barbell would be 350 lbs. I also have dumbbells from 25 lbs to 70 lbs. All dumbbells are rubber CAP dumbbells and all are pairs except for the 25lb weight.
The bench can incline and decline.
