After World War II my father, started in construction in Palm Desert, he ended up getting in a little trouble. Some how through his brush with the law he meet or faced judge Nix. The judge took a liking to dad, and wrangled him to go up to Wrightwood, dad helped judge Nix in developing the town.
I wish I could thank the judge for helping my father, if it was not for the judge I could have grown up in the desert, and not have had the great up brining that Wrightwood provided our family and me.
Once again Mahalo Mr. Graham for all the history of Wrightwood.
A friend of mine stopped by the museum a couple of weekends ago and sent some pictures of Pops fire jacket nice to know the Meluso name is still hanging in history.
