You think? It's a dog's life when you can ski and fish in the same place on the same weekend. You be a dog, Bob!  ;D

Ivan 'the dog' leaves a pretty good life.  My buddy Bob and I have been planning this fishing trip for some time.  We've been really thankful we hit some really nice weather and fun fishing.

And nice planning the trip on a new moon, too! Some think it's an old wive's tale, not me. Many years ago I went to Crowley with my dad. You wouldn't believe how many fish were leaping around the boat and nary a one did we catch, and no, not it's not because of lack of talent. Same trip we stopped at Convict Lake and it was so windy the lake had rather sizeable white caps. Disappointing, but it didn't matter cuz I had fun just being on a trip with my dad. It's still a great memory, I won't say how long.  ;D

Thanks for the memories.  My dad would take my brother and I fishing on Convict Lake every year since I was around 10 years old.  Love the Eastern Sierras!!
