FRS Radios
« on: Nov 09, 09, 02:13:43 AM »
I checked Costco, and I couldn't find any.  I guess they are a seasonal item.

In checking eBay, I see lots of them.  Is there a common brand?  What about this one?

They had them at the Victorville Costco today, $60 for a pair of them.

I went a few weeks ago and looked and even asked for them and I was told they were seasonal.  What section are they in at the Victorville store?  I looked near the phones and then back in the aisles.

I found these on the Costco website:

http://www.costco.com/Common/Search.aspx?whse=BC&topnav=&search=FRS&N=0&Ntt=FRS&cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&lang=en-US

They are all close to the same price.  Is there one that is better than the other two?

Both Midland and Motorola are radio/electronics companies that have been around for many years.  I would use either of these radios.  See which one feels best to you, and go for it!

Yes, they did move them. They use to be be by the phones, now they are toward the back of the store near the barbecues and the sporting goods.

In case anyone is interested, the Victorville Costco has $10 off the Motorola FRS radios for the next few days. They are on the same aisle as the bicycles.
