Keep the folks of Mariposa and Coulterville in your thoughts. The Detwiler fire is 20,000+ acres, and continues to burn both north and south. If it continues moving south, it could enter Mariposa later tonight.

Mariposa is at the intersection of CA-49 and 140, one of the entrances to Yosemite National Park. Mandatory evacuations are in place.

Coulterville is at the intersection of CA-49 and 132, near Lake McClure. Voluntary evacuations are in place.

The fire is between Mariposa and Coulterville, and could continue to move north and east, Coulterville is the next major city north on CA-49

Local Fresno media indicates the Detwiler fire nearly doubled overnight. May be up to 45,000+ acres, as of around 6am this morning.
