Fireworks Show, July 1, Phelan

The official list of firework displays is posted in a different thread on this site.  I'm posting this question because the July 1st show listed for Phelan gives the address for Serrano H.S.  The sponsor is listed as New Life Church. .. which is located a few blocks away. Does anyone have further info on this?  I'll try to hunt down more myself.  thanks, cheryl o7o

Ok,  I should have made one more phone call before I posted my previous.  The event is Sponsored by New Life Church and starts at 6pm at Serrano. Sounds like a lot of family friendly events are planned, music, food, etc.  The fireworks start at 9pm.

You can google New Life Church/Phelan CA and click on their event schedule for more details if you're interested in attending.  cheryl o7o

Just want to add that the event was sponsored by a number of local churches. We wound up going to a friend's house just above Serrano and  saw a lovely fireworks show.  So, thanks to all the sponsors for putting on the event. cheryl o7

Does anyone know if there is going to be a firework show at Serrano this year? We went to it last year and really enjoyed it.

I heard on another forum that there would not be a show this year. I do not know if that's accurate.

Gonna guess no...prices for fireworks shows have gone through the roof.  Betting on the real show will be the thousands of illegal fireworks being shot up all over the high desert right about the time all of of the annual vegetation has cured and is ready for instant ignition.  Always hold my breath around that time of year that we don't catch the Golden BB.
