Homeowner's Insurance
« on: Feb 11, 21, 04:50:20 PM »
We are looking for new homeowner's insurance. After years with Horace Mann, they are dropping us come March. Please let me know who is still insuring homes in Wrightwood. We are not in the flood zone.

My house has been insured with State Farm for many years.  I recently got my renewal notices and bills in the mail for both homeowner's and earthquake policies.  I have a friend who also just renewed their policy with State Farm.

Mine is State Farm, when I bought it the agent was Fred Hanrahan in Banning (or Beaumont?) put he has passed on, I'm not sure who the agent is now but you can probably find the office with a little searching. But I'm also not certain if that office will write new policies for mountain areas. Good luck.

It's hard to find a company that will write new insurance in a potential fire area.

We have two policies, fire insurance through California Fair Plan, and a wraparound policy that covers things that the Fair Plan doesn't.

The Wraparound is from Pacific Specialty.

I shop it every year, and haven't found anyone else that would write a policy.

Our agent is Michael Waring, 625-331-0936
