...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 45 to 65 mph possible
in the High Desert. Winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts 60 to 70 in the
mountains, locally up to 80 mph possible on the desert slopes of
the mountains.

* WHERE...Apple and Lucerne Valleys and San Bernardino County
Mountains.

* WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
