My daughter called me today to see this great spider as she was putting up Halloween decorations. The body is the size of a dime with long legs, scary looking. I still have it.
What is it??
belly side, note it has a face

My guess would be some type of orb spider; but it's just a guess. I had a cat face orb spider in my yard a couple of years ago. But alas, a fan of spiders I am not.

Chuck, if you're on Facebook, join the High Desert Wildlife page. Great folks and they can ID anything!!! Can't say enough about how much I've learned on this page.
