I also remember the 74 snowfall, but at that time I was living in Victorville. My parents got stuck at the base, and I got to have my first night alone at home! The neatest thing I remember is shoveling out the driveway, with, get this (remember, I am in VV) a snow shovel! We had just transfered to the desert from alaska. The snow was wonderful, but not anything like snowfall we would get every winter in Fairbanks. (I remember my neighbors looking at me like I was insane, but then, I got my driveway done in no time!) Thanks to a Mom that never threw anything away!
