Dear Chevy Owners, I wanted to let you know about a recent recall that Chevrolet is doing. It has to do with Chevy trucks, Tahoe, Suburban etc. in the years 2004, 05, 06 maybe 07's. The cluster of gauges on the instrument panel has been found to be faulty. Chevy is extending the warranty to 100,000 miles or 7 years for that cluster-$500.00 part!!
In WW alone, my speedometer went out at 36,000 miles (04 Tahoe Z71, my neighbor's speedometer malfunctioned and my other neighbor's fuel gauge is out (06 Suburban).
If you or anyone you know is having any problems with the cluster panel please contact Chevy. Also, you may get a letter in the mail authorizing replacement for free at any dealer. If you've already paid for repairs, you will be reimbursed. Contact me if you have any questions as I just had mine repaired for free at Rancho Motors in V V.
