CERT Plans Fundraiser With Goodwill

A while back I clipped an article out of the NewsPlus and tacked it on my calendar:

"Do you have unwanted items and you don't want to have yard sale then your problem is solved.  On Saturday, September 5th, 2015 from 8-3pm the Wrightwood CERT is holding a funraiser in partnership with Goodwill to raise money for firefighter rehab supplies.  Gather your unwanted items and drop them off at the Wrightwood Community Center parking lot.

So I loaded up my car and arrived at the parking lot about 10am.  Nothing is going on there to do with CERT or Goodwill.  What happened?  Cancelled?  Time changed?  Date changed?

Sorry to hear about your experience.

This was a CERT email sent out on 8/10/2015

To all CERTs,
We have just been notified by Goodwill that they are no longer offering the partnership program that we participated in last year.  Therefore, we will not be holding our September 5th garage sale.
