STUDENT ART SHOW in WRIGHTWOOD
The urge to create art begins at an early age. And the students who will exhibit their work at The Loft are no exception. Under the instruction of Gayle Dowling, manager of The Loft, students from age four to eighteen years have been painting for months, even years, to prepare for the First Annual Student Art Show in Wrightwood. Presented by The Loft, a collaborative of local artists, the show will open Tuesday evening, June 17th, from 6:00-9:00pm. Refreshments will be served. Student art will be on display at The Loft through the end of June. The Loft is located in the Big Horn Building above The Village Grind at 6020 Park Avenue in Wrightwood. Art classes and individual instruction for adults and children are offered at The Loft on an ongoing basis.
Students are all Wrightwood residents, including Kaylee Hartnell, Baylee & Lily Fischer, Sophia Egnozzi, and Miranda Vondra. The show will feature Brandon Kloesel, the first student to work with Gayle at The Loft to develop his art talents. In the ensuing three years, Brandon has worked primarily in water color and occasionally in mixed media. In addition to studying with Gayle, he is currently taking art classes at Victor Valley College.
