Advisory: Victorville Detectives arrest a 17 year old male for Arson and Possession of Stolen Property

SUSPECT: 17 year old male
SUMMARY:
On Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:31 a.m., the Victorville Police Department received notification that a vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene of a fire at the Southern California Logistics Airport. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle on Village Drive. The driver, a 17 year old male from Hesperia, was found in possession of stolen property. Detectives from the Victorville Police Department, working in conjunction with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Bomb/Arson Detail and San Bernardino County Fire Personnel, questioned the suspect reference the fire. Detectives served a search warrant at the suspect's residence and recovered additional stolen property. The suspect was booked at the High Desert Juvenile Detention Center in Apple Valley for Arson of a Structure and Possession of Stolen Property.
