I don't understand why we are being forced to make an unsafe U turn somewhere down the road.  For people stopping at the signal thinking they can turn left...you are a sitting duck since you are not in the turn lane.  Am I missing something?

I went down to Beekley and made a U at the signal.

Caltrans District 8

State Route 2 is now open in Wrightwood from State Route 138.
Angeles Crest Highway, SR-2, remains closed from Big Pines Highway to Glenwood Camp Road in Los Angeles County.

Please check quickmap.ca.gov for continuous updates.
