Hi all, I just bought this house on the corner of Maple and Oriole (1405 Oriole) and am trying to get some history on it.  Somebody came by the other day and said it was one of the original cabins (it was built in 1926) and was called "Fairbend" in the garage I found this picture

Can anybody provide some information on this cabin?

Thanks!  It doesn't seem like anybody has any news for me about this house.  I was hoping a forum member may know it's history.

Call Marica Meyers, one of our pioneer realtors, and ask her if she knows anything about the cabin.  Marcia is a walking treasure trove of information about the village.

Feier   celebration

abend   evening

In Germany it was basically used to say "have a great evening" - (celebrate your evening).

Hey junior, Back in the days when your mom lived in Wrightwood there were no addresses so many people took to naming their cabins such as the engraving on  your  folks cabin,Uncle Bud
