Doesn't look like anything we had at the old station.  We had sirens up on the roof but no bells like that.  The fire phone had a Claxon horn that would wake the dead but totally different shape.  I started there in 1972.

It says in the discription "This is a nice collectable item from the Wrightwood, Big Bear area, for those who like to collect vintage fire fighting equipment."

What place is it Wrightwood or big bear?

Thanks to KB6CLA (I know who you are  ;))The seller added this to his description.

"I looked at the Wrightwood Forum the fireman Who says he never saw it there started in 1972 .This thing is probably older then that, but who knows. It could have been saved from the dumpster long before he got there, I have just retold the story told to me."

Simplex Time Recorder Company
The Simplex Time Recorder Company was founded by Edward G. Watkins, who invented and patented one of the first practical time clocks. The company, located in Gardner, Massachusetts, purchased IBM Time Equipment Division in 1958, diversified into fire alarm and security systems in 1967, and was sold to Tyco International in 2001 for $1.2 billion.

Wildman... must have been installed in 1967 and removed just before you got there in '72  ;)

The device pictured looked like a alarm that used to be some schools.
