Earthquake San Fernando Valley
« on: Aug 09, 07, 08:14:03 AM »
Just woken up here in Burbank by a 4.5 earthquake centered NNW of Chatsworth.  Enough to wake me up from a sound sleep.

Was it felt in Wrightwood?

I was in the office on the computer when the quake occurred, but I did not sense it.  Others may have, though.

I was on my computer at the time it occurred, writing an email to Wrightwood as a matter of fact, and did not feel a thing.

It appears from the "Shake Map" that it wasn't felt that far East in the San Gabriel Mountains:

I didn't feel it, but I swear, last night I had one of my "we're going to have an earthquake" feelings. I almost mentioned it to Clint, but didn't, so I don't have any proof.

Just had another 3.5 earthquake from the Chatsworth area.  Pretty good jolt here in Encino.
