If the 15 N is closed or the traffic is really horrible on Hwy 38 through Big Bear to Hwy 18 is an option. It takes about 2.5 hours to get to Wrightwood from Redlands.

Well made it home in an hour from South Fontana. The 215 was open but there were a few obstacles.
Went 210-215-15
Sign said 18 was closed.
I had reliable information but it was much worse than described.

Woo hoo!!! Someone made it through the chaos. I was thinking Hwy 18 down the backside, through Apple Valley. That is open.

This website is great. My hubby in on the 15 comming home left El Segundo at 140 My son is on the 14 comming home from Hollywood (construction site). I wouldn't try the 18 or 330 they are evacuating down those roads. My husband was not allowed to go thru Lytle creekl/swarthout. We are all lucky.

According to CHP it is no longer open. I am not sure where the power lines are exactly but they are about to fall on the fwy. The NB is closed at Sierra, SB at Oak Hills, the NB 215 closed at Palm/Kendall.
