Scanner Activity

Already heard this morning on the scanner:

- 24 year old male with head injury, Ski Patrol Office at Mountain High West
- TC (traffic collision) at Lone Pine and Sheep Creek, several vehicle involved
- Station 101 has three Medical Ambulances staffed today, MA101, MA101A, MA101B

And it isn't even 0900L yet.

What channel?  I heard the sirens this morning and thought the same thing. Already!!!

We have a Radio Shack PRO-95 scanner, which is (more or less) permanently set on the Victorville Comm Center dispatch frequency of 151.145 Mhz.  We can monitor all the fire/medical dispatch calls coming out of VV.  We hear dispatches for WW station 101, clear out to Baker, Victorville, Hesperia, etc.

There are many other frequencies programmed into the scanner, but it's been so long since I read up on the device, that I would need to re-learn it to better program it.

I have the PRO-94 and Radio Shack programmed it but I still have a hard time using it.  Lots of activity from VV but not here in WW.  Did you hear the UFO siting on Christmas Eve?

I am 62 years old and there has been a  UFO sighting on Crhistmas Eve every yeaar  whether I lived in Iowa, Texas, or Calif.
