Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Partly cloudy, with a low around 42. East wind around 5 mph becoming south.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. South wind around 5 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 44. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Ed/Bonnie and the CERT team put on a great drill yesterday that very likely will save lives when a catastrophe occurs in our area (or outside).  Practice makes perfect and something like this helps everyone directly and indirectly.  Captains Dennis Felgar (SB Fire) & Captain Ron Heinig (Angeles Forest) both spoke about how our area CERT group is years ahead of other key areas.
