I just read the ARRL newsletter and wasn't surprised.
The question was asked if it was legal to use a ham radio on last Sunday's Net and I answered it was. Looks like we'll need to cover more detail on the next Net.

What really amazes me is how many people still use their cell phone while driving

As many of you know, I travel the state allot...

I have asked local police as well as highway patrol and all of them have told me that using a ham radio perfectly fine with them, and, many of them that i have spoken to are hams themselves.

I guess we are going to have to not only educate ourselves, but law enforcement as well??
