Can you describe the system you are putting together?
- Grid-intertied, grid-intertied with battery backup or off-grid (stand-alone)
- What type of mounting system
- Type of inverter

It will be grid-intertied no batteries.
I'll mount the panels on a frame mounted in concrete, large enough to double the number of panels later, I'll start with 10. The inverter is a  PVP 4800-240v. 4.8kw.

I'll post some pics as it comes together.

Our first 5.1 kwh, it's aready making 1000watts at 9 a.m. It topped out at 1480watts today with 7 panels.

We ended up mounting the first 7 panels on top of a storage container. This allowed for a very quick installation. The stands are adjustable for summer and winter angles.

Very nice.
Mountain Hardware's panels are also adjusted for summer/winter angles and Mike said it really helps.

Boy, the things are just popping up everywhere now, aren't they? Besides Snowline school district, it almost appears that every public building in Lancaster has the things installed. Several "solar farms" being erected on the east side of Lancaster (and probably the westside), too.

Personally, I'll take these over windmills any day. Yeah, they take up lots of room, but there's plenty of that out in the desert.

I just brought my solar panels on line and actually observed my very old meter stopped, it even ran backwards for a bit!

woo hoo

Now I just need to add a few more panels and I'm good to go.
