I was talking to a fellow resident today, who happened to mentioned that Wrightwood used to have albino squirrels. A plague hit in the early 70's and wiped out the squirrel population. Apparently, the squirrel population has never been the same.

Any pictures of this? Any info? VERY INTERESTING!

Wow, the picture of the albino squirrel is really cute, I have never seen a photo of one but heard the story years ago.

I have a picture of a white squirrel that does not have any pink like an albino. I will have to look for the story and picture that were in the mountainer progress, I am pretty sure i have the artical i just need to find it.
