My mom used to play dominoes with your parents. I hope your mom is doing well. I remember George striding (not walking!) to the post office every day.  :)

George gave me some very helpful information when I first got my ham radio license, and I was still so confused about so much of it.  I have lunch once a month with a group of widows and Marvine has been attending (she was there last Friday).  She looks great, and I've enjoyed getting to get to know her better.

I remember George helping us out with the Kenwood TH-F6A ham radios and participating in Wrightwood CERT.

I remember George when I worked with him at DDL in Rancho until I quit to start my insurance agency in 1972.  When we moved to WW in 1992 I was pleased to encounter George at the PO.   He is still fondly remembered by his former co-workers.
