Looking for Utility Trailer
« on: Apr 15, 15, 09:43:25 PM »
After years of renting/borrowing a truck for the pine needle cleanup every year, this year I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a small trailer that I can pull in my minivan.

I just got a Class 3 trailer hitch with a 2" receiver for my minivan. Wiring kit specific to my model minivan is coming in the mail next week. Don't have any other hardware yet.

So, any suggestions on trailer size, where to look, etc.? I'm guessing I should look for a 6'x8' on Craiglist. Any "gotchas" to look out for regarding things like title, registration fees, insurance, etc.?

Actually, I hadn't thought of renting a U-Haul trailer when I wrote this post. That might be the best option for me, since I only need it once a year.
