Just my 2 cents, but absolutely no need for reverse-osmosis; our water is great for drinking. Bad for pipes, but great for humans -- the minerals that make the water hard lower your risk of heart disease and kidney stones. Here is the water quality report:

And as far as NaturalNews goes, I don't think they're necessarily disingenuous; I think they probably believe the things that they're reporting, but it's full of misinformed fear-mongering. Every time I've looked into an article at the site, the actual research that they references does not draw the same conclusions that they do. I don't write off anything as conspiratorial on its face, because conspiracies are a reality in all societies, particularly in our propagandistic corporatocracy, but these folks are very far afield.
