We are living in a time where so many people are supremely comfortable being wrong-minded.  Stubborn, immovable, irrational and wrong.  I'm not sure how we get out of such a common-sense hole.  I'm not sure the election alone will do it.  As long as people have a place to go to be programmed with BS 24/7....

Yes.  They are clearing deaths.  Locally, Phelan 7, Pinon Hills 2, Oak Hills 7, and Wrightwood 3.  There was some data problem that resulted in an undercount for awhile.

There are some good numbers in this latest report.  The positive rate for Phelan, Pinon Hills, and Wrightwood for the week 1/24 - 1/30 went down significantly to 12.5, 11.1, and 11 respectively.

These daily stats might be still including lots of back cases, the deaths jumped another 110 today for a 4.1% increase over the previous day.

The 7-day positive rate for Wrightwood is 4.2 (2/7-2/13).  Big drops in Phelan and Pinon Hills too.

I know that I feel a bit more positive about things now that I've had my 2nd vaccination. I'm thinking that the increased volume of vaccinations may be helping.

The CSD has been informed that the county has mobile vaccinations for those 65+ scheduled for the Wrightwood area.
They are scheduled for March 4 and March 25 at the Wrightwood Elementary School 10am-3pm.  Please note:
The Department of Aging and Adult Services will be making the initial contacts with their senior clients to schedule appointments directly with those individuals.  We ask that those residents interested contact the Joint Information Center (JIC) at 909-387-3911.  The JIC will then assist these individuals in scheduling their appointments for the current week. Lastly, should any appointments still be available 48 hour before the event day the links will be posted on the County's vaccination webpage at: https://sbcovid19.com/vaccine/.
