Thanks BostonBob! It was a great class and I really appreciated Clint's style of teaching. Now if I can just find my 'radio voice' and the right radio I'll be all set. I used to be just a redneck, but now I'm a redneck geek!

Some of us will be going for our upgrades in Victorville on March 15 at 12:30pm, FYI.

As a side note, Hank's wife and my wife also scored 100% on their Technician class test as well.

This must have been the braniac class.

Remember that many of the 2m handhelds can also be used as a scanner. You can scan some of frequencies that are used by fire, forest and other public assistance agencies in the area.

I am ready for the test...when the locations and times were announced I was "buffering."
