Can you get slices of the tree and make it a table top?   It's huge and a sad loss but considering the damage it could cause it's better to take it down. 

That machinery is enormous!!

Patchylou,  I am glad everything worked out.  I am sorry I was unable to contact you prior to starting the job, however in this case the priority was removing the tree before the "big storm" hit on the weekend.  It was a great point brought up about the forum, the close communication in the community got us in contact.  Wrightwood said it best, there is a large group effort in all of the projects done in Wrightwood, and the Fire Safe Council has always been great in being there and working to get the projects done.  Wrightwood is very lucky to have such a close community and such a dedicated Fire Safe Council.  :2thumbsup:

Yep, that's Jerry and his son Jerry.  I've got two pieces of their work!  I haven't gotten my bench delivered yet, so you can still get a peak of it at their shop!
