Wildman you have such a GOOD EYE!!!

Very nice saddle I love the high cantle.  Is she doing her own leather tooling too.  I do leather tooling but do not have the time to devote to it as I would like.  It is a GREAT hobby.

The name of the rose is Double Delight. There is another one that looks similar but I'm not sure the name of the other one. Great picture!

Thanks CashFan!  I went to the rose site and am sifting through all kinds of interesting information.  We will try and get some more of those multi-colored roses...they look and smell great.

The sky this morning had the most incredible sunrise I can remember.  The storm coming in (it's raining now) and the colors playing off the clouds was spectacular.  Note for Wrightwood:  This was shot on manual.

Wow! Unbelievable shot Wildman. No filter or anything? I don't think I've ever seen the sky look quite so ominous!

Not sure if you realized it but you got a nice view of Mt. Whitney and Lone Pine Peak. in your Sierra shot. The prominent sloping ridge that dominates the left side of the Lone Pine P (everyone mistakes that for Whitney because it looks higher) and the distant ridge with the saw teeth (above the saddle cantle) is Mt. Whitney and the Keeler Needle.

While going through files I backed up to a new hard drive, I found this picture of Farrel, our Umbrella Cockatoo and his life long friends.  The chickens were raised from chicks in a swimming pool covered with wire and lived right underneath Farrel's cage.  He was the first thing they saw in the morning and the last at night.  When the chickens went to an outside area, Farrel would open his cage....waddle out to the chain link fence...climb it and roost with the chickens.

Whenever we couldn't find Farrel, that's the first place we looked.  They seemed to enjoy his company and they all snuggled up for the night.
