Wildman I so very much enjoy viewing your wonderful photos.

I thought I would post one I took of my dog CASH @ Table Mtn. CG a week ago.  It almost looks like a fake background to me lol.  I will post a sunrise pic from the house when I get back from running an errand.   I am using a Kodak DX6490 but would like to get a camera like yours one day.

Well I didn't get it for Christmas, but it is still my first efforts with a new camera system. This is sunset progression, with the second picture taken about twenty minutes after the first.

Very nice, Boston Bob.  The only thing nicer then a mountain sunset is one at the beach.  Is this down at San Clemente?

Or San Onofre or San Elijo?  Beautiful picture.   Makes me wish (again) I could go camping at the beach.

Okay here is that sunrise...  A beautiful sunrise can make your whole day!  A beautiful sunset can make your whole night!  We are very fortunate where we live to be able to experience these natural beauties :)

Great sunrise shot !!  Keep them coming.  With the storms heading in, the potential for great sunrise and sunset shots will be there.

Redondo, huh.  I could have sworn that was Cotton's Point to the south and the railroad tracks just in from the beach.  Very nice shot also, Bostonbob.

Here's Christmas sunrise 2005 at Mountain Top.  I never stop admiring the incredible handiwork as it plays across the sky.

WOW! Wildman, you have the eye, the vision & obviously you have the equipment (insert joke here). Hummingbirds are notoriously difficult to shoot...sorry, photograph. The horses are gorgeous. Don't worry about the cat, most of them ARE possesed!

WOW Beautiful photos of the sun rising to give us another chance for a wonderful day.  I just told my Bride how pretty the early morning sky has been as I reach the top of Lone Pine at close to 6:00 for the decent into the valley...  It takes my breath away to see such God given beauty and I thank him for it everyday. It makes the early trip worth it!  We are so lucky to live here!!!!

I called Wrightwood to tell him to check out tonight's sunset.  He said it was already dark up in Wrightwood.  He did talk me through taking a series of photos and merging them into a panorama of the sunset.  This is how it turned out.  It is actually five photos taken hand held.

Thanks, Artology!  I am still in the middle of a huge learning curve that is both facinating and tough to get a grasp on.  As always, Wrightwood continues to challenge me to try new things and techniques.

Why don't you share some of your efforts with your new camera?
