Chickens grow on you.  Once you've eaten eggs that are fresh from chickens that can free range, you will never eat a store bought (up to six months old and still called fresh) egg again.  They each have distinctive personalities and are always glad to see you.

Hi Wildman I agree with you whole heartedly!  I have 14 chickens & enjoy them very much.  They are so fun to watch.  You haven't lived until you are fetching your own eggs from your own chickens ;)

This guy won't land on the suet feeder.  He insists on an aerial approach and pickoff.

Yikes!  Looks like another bug underneath the leaf.  Very cool shot.

Here is a quail shot for you ailing aunt.



The two mails were down by the water this morning having a drink.  The pond didn't freeze over last night and they got an early start.

My Grandfather took this picture with his polaroid camera...in the 60's..He loved photography....and used polaroids....This is pyramid lake in Nevada....

I've had my website for about 9 months.  I have done pretty good with it.  It has paid for itself and the Epson printer I bought. 

Blue is an Alaskan Grey Wolf.  We are not sure which region Niwah comes from but she is a Grey Wolf also.

You can give them cuddles, they are tame enough so you can get in amongst them. I did. They are beautiful animals and friendly. One of the females "adopted" me when I was there. :2thumbsup:

Greetings angelwolf.....what sort of printer do you have?......I've got an HP which prints nice dpi...but the hp ink leaves much to be desired.....I'd appreciate any of your printer reccomendations/ info....How did the sanctuary come by these wolves?

Light coming through the subject has a neat effect.  Many times I miss it because of lack of experience.  This is a hummingbird that was stretching his wing.  It just happened to hit the light right and sillouetted the feathers.  I had the setting wrong for the bird but right for the wing when it moved into the sun.  Interesting effect.



This Scrub Jay shot is a companion one to an earlier one.  The light seems to come through and make the feathers translucent.

Niwah is my adopted wolf. Isn't she a pretty girl??
That is my tough nephew Marine getting a scalp cleaning from Niwah.
