Did you just happen upon this guy at the beach?

no, it was in the ocean, I was snorkeling... and found the conch..I wanted to bring it home, so put it on the boat overnight....
in the morning, it started to try to come out of the shell!!

We plopped him back in the ocean.

I have a short tutorial I could email if you have adobe,,,

Hi Laughlinguy....
The concept is to have motion in a slow shutter speed.....
But...
With stops...
The stops....in this particular photo is at the end of the movement....
add clarity and definition...in the blurr......
I used adobe's extraction tool and painting to do the background in black....
