Viewing the video on youtube shows that the video came out vertically compressed, it also should not have bars at the top. Depending on the editing software you are using, make sure the project format you are starting your editing with matches the format of the video (a 16:9 canvas for 16:9 video from your camera). Also, it's no longer necessary to shrink videos uploaded to youtube for *the viewer*. Youtube now detects the viewers download speed and adjusts the bitrate/video quality accordingly....though imbedding the video may not allow this, not sure. Of course, uploading it will go faster if that's your issue.
