Okay gang, the decals have been ordered.  I plan to sell them at cost so everybody better buy one!!! I've been set back $500.00 for 100 decals!  I will let you know when they arrive and we will have a sale day at the Village Grind!  Perhaps some music too?!!!
I don't know what's harder, the waiting for the decals or doing the math here!  ;)

Guess you'd better stick to cooking Pac-Fan! Let's see, I have 500 baby tomatoes and want to divide them equally among  100 dinner guests...

Wow! Tracking shows that the decals should be here soon!!!  Keep watch because it looks like decal day at the Village Grind may be next weekend!!!  And to those who have already purchased a decal sight unseen and have faith in ol' hobbes to capture the spirit of Wrightwood  on a car window decal, I say, "Yooooou're Awwwwwesoooooome!!!!!!!  Meanwhile, ol' hobbes has decided to release the Wrightwood Car Window decal artwork.  It is somewhere on the internet for you to find if you can not wait till the real thing arrives.  I just ask a couple of things, do not attempt to print or repost the image, and let others have the fun of finding the image on their own!  Let's have some fun here!   8)

Welll, ol' hobbes is happy to announce that the Wrightood window decals have arrived!  That's right folks, the decals are here and I'm proud to say they look great!  Already there is less than 100 decals left after hobbes put one on each of his vehicles, put one on a window at the Village Grind, and saved a few for future use.  So if you want to get one  (and if you have pride in living in Wrightwood, then I know you will)  you'd better get down to the Village Grind and put in your pre sale order!!!

Or you can take a chance and wait for Decal Day at The Village Grind, which will be this Sunday, November 11th, starting at High Noon!

I am selling them at my cost for the decals, only five dollars each, so please bring cash, at less than 100 decals they are sure to go fast!

I agree with the design, it is so simple that it is perfect for Wrightwood.  I purchased one for my can, but my Jeep has a soft top and will the decal stay on the vinyl windows?

I have one on the window NEAR my can, but I don't think it would show up ON my can, because both the sticker, and my can, are white.  And where would you install it so it would be seen anyway?...

but seriously, I designed the decal to reflect the spirit of Wrightwood, and I believe everyone will be proud to put one on their car.  Come by the Village Grind tomorrow at High Noon cause I think they're gonna sell fast!

I guess I need to clean my glasses, so I can read my posts.  I purchased one for my "car", and would like to get one for my jeep, but will the decal stay on a vinyl window?

Sorry DustyDuck, we simply could not resist teasing you a bit!  My best answer is; I don't know.  The decals are designed to go on glass or smooth surfaces.  The adhesive bonds well if the surface is cleaned properly before application.  But I don't know how it would do on a vinyl window, because I believe that over time, they become a bit porous.

For those who don't know; to apply the decal, clean your window in the application area well with rubbing alcohol on a clean rag or paper towel. Then go back over the area with water on a clean rag or paper towel, then wipe the surface dry with a clean rag or paper towel.  Carefully peel off the decal backing, align the decal and smooth into place.  Rub on all the decal vinyl to ensure good adhesion and to push out any trapped air bubbles, you can even use a credit card to help with this, finally, carefully peel off the cover paper and admire your awesome new Wrightwood Decal!!!

Decal Day at the Village Grind was a lot of fun.  If you missed out, there are still some Wrightwood decals available.  Stop by the Village Grind to see the Wrightwood Decal on their window, and they are available for five bucks a piece.  They make great Christmas Card inserts!  Don't wait till shop at home, get yours now and don't miss out!   8)

I saw one today on a friend's car, and agree that the decals are totally cool!  Question - since the decal goes on the outside of the window, how does it hold up if you take the car to a car wash?
