There's usually quite a nice flower explosion around the spring just below Guffy Camp.
Last year it was spectacular. I think BBob took some pictures.

Hi Chuck...the Blue Larkspur are from the San Bernardino's....around our place....I'd like to try and catch those sunflowers at the 215/15 split at sunset....As far as the inter agency issue is concerned, asking for forgiveness is much easier than asking for permission.....Either way, I'm extreeeeemly careful on the freeway....

Thanks Wildman. I don't see Monkey Flower around Wrightwood, but next week I'm going to get some more photos of the flannelbush in the sheep creek drainage. The dense population of Flannelbush in that drainage is specifically mentioned in one of my books.
