If you can call a 2000 LB horse a pet....Katie was one half of our wagon team and was the lead mare in our herd of ten. She was one of our four Belgian Draft Horses. Brave as a lion in the whirlwind of a parade and kind as a kitten as she bent over for hugs from a five year old. She lead with quiet resolve. We miss her.

Katie at work with JC...her partner and teammate. Katie closet to camera and JC on the curbside. They loved the crowds and people and would collect up and synchronize their feet the minute we stepped onto Hwy 395.

We lost Katie several years ago. I found the picture of her cleaning folders on my computer. We had her for a long time and the memories are all good.

We have Hawks everyday and yesterday I got to watch one dine on a rabbit. Have pictures but not able to post yet. Watch the complete video and see fur a flying. I zoom in about 15 seconds into video.
