Kinda. They showed everyone what a conformation competition would be like, but the day was mostly focused on simply raising funds for the various Basset Rescues in the So Cal area. Abby doesn't compete. She is kinda spoiled (well, maybe more than kinda :D ). Bassets are stubborn, and tend to be of their own mind. I took a couple small videos too, that if I can post to FlickR, I will connect them here. There was a howling contest and a tail wag contest. :D

In February of 2003, my wife and I took a trip to Northern Arizona. Beautiful country, around Jerome, Prescott and Sedona. I saw a beautiful church, and when I find the paperwork on it I will tell you more. Here it is for your consideration (ps, it makes a truely wonderful desktop for my computer :D )

That's the "Chapel of the Holy Cross"...  gorgeous shot.  I used to live in Sedona.....  There is so much beauty and so much spirituality....  It is paradise there.......

Skier Bob...those are beautiful shots!  The bare trees in the bottom photo make it look like a painting...kinda reminds me of Convict lake.

The chaparral appearance of the mountains surrounding that lake reminds me of Silverwood or Littlerock Dam (doubt there is much more than a mud puddle there this time of year though).
