The dinasour is a really cool gift shop. We stop off to have breakfast at Denny's and then walk across the parking lot to walk through the dinasour each time we go to the River on the Parker Strip.

Used to spend weekends in the upper end of Oak Creek Canyom, the inlaws ran the Chipmunk store and Motel inthe 50's and 6o's for George Babbet, also ran the trout fishing pond prior to the store. Had some great times in the area

I put in for the district ranger job at Red Rocks RD. got picked for the one I'm at now instead (they were advertised at the same time). Looks like a great area but has its management problems just like every place. Will try to get there to visit in a couple of years.
