Thank you. He lives in our heart and he also brought Abby to us, she is very like him but smaller and a wide lass,  I can't look at her without thinking of him so there you go.

Actually, if you remember, we found a puppy outside Jensens early last year, I posted here trying to find his owner. Well we kept him for a couple of weeks and then we found him a good home. The day after he left was the day Sam was taken. Karma is an odd thing.

Don't you think he looks like the flying nun in the second picture? I loved how his ears would do that! Oh and the butt up, one leg on the couch sitting, that was a hoot. Three on the floor, I must look for a photo.

i thought this was an interesting photo. the glare is the light in the room where it was hanging. there were no details of how or who made the original. i just copied it.

Somehow....I think the waves washing over the Golden Gate Bridge were an artist's conception.
We would have heard of that tide surge (or the surfer who rode it into Oakland).
But the idea is food for thought.

Here is my new house in New Mexico.  I replaced the gate with one 20ft. wide so the fire trucks can make the turn.  The old gate is still laying there...

Here is the back of the house.  I have a beautiful view of the Sandia, San Pedro, and Sangre de Cristo mountains from various rooms.

It is actually constructed of stucco but it is a "Santa Fe" style house made to look like adobe.  Real adobe takes a LOT of maintenance!

i think so too but it didn't look like a painting. maybe some clever graphic artist?

I think it is a cool pic but it has to be photoshopped or something.  If you look at the "bay" side, the water is very smooth.  If you look at the "wave" side, the water is rough.  I would think that if a wave that large was coming in, the surface of the "outgoing" water wouldn't be so smooth.  Not only that, I would think that a wave that large would be a tsunami and all the water would have been pulled out of the bay!  When I lived in Hawaii as a kid, it was drilled into our heads that if the water line receeded way back--head for high ground 'cause the big one was coming in!

At the country club today I got some special shots to me.  Look at the love of mommies hand.  She is so precious!

Grandma brings some great excitement on the slide.  Doesn't she look happy?

How did  you take the picture?  If you took it with a cell  phone you probably have it as large as you can.  If you took it with a camera resize the original to something like 800 x 600.   Your current picture is 200 x 150.

there was a tsunami in 1906 check out this site http://walrus.wr.usgs.gov/tsunami/1906_small.html

But the Golden Gate Bridge wasn't built until the 1930's... It was started in 1933 and completed in 1937.
