Your close, yes he could trip.... but there's a never should do action he's doing while in training, weapon handling, or live magazine handling.

 Keep looking  ;)

Tell him to get his finger out of the trigger guard ....

And the winner is Horse Apples  ;)

Rule is, never, ever, insert your finger into the trigger guard or place your finger on the trigger until your ready to launch.

Ok, any body tell me what this might be.....and yes it's real.

The position of the muzzle of his weapon is too close to the officer in front of him.

 Thanks dude  ;)
I'll give a hint on what it does,
It's powered by battery and a magnatron produces what?

The military has a larger device which produces the same element of surprise vehicle mounted for cival unrest non lethal use.

What is the weapon the SWAT officer holding looking down the barrel do?
Since Wrightwood has seen it in action when I was in the middle of testing it he can't guess. But it does fire a projectile.

The SWAT officer (third man in) has his finger on the trigger, seems too close to the second man, and, is not covering his left flank

Neither of the two guys in the rear have any type of eye safety on. An ejected shell by another officer could put the guy out of commission.

I don't think you can judge the distance from photos taken at a distance.

 - The closest guess I have is that the projectile is bean bags or a net.  The bean bag weapon I have seen in the past is closer to an M203 though ....

True, but in the real deal they do wear eye and ear protection.....remember, this was a reinactment segment we did for a TV program. We all wore ear and eye protection when we did the entry-flash bang event.

We are getting off topic of posting pictures and it's my bad, all wonderfull I may add also.

Horse Apples gets the "less lethal" guess correct. It launches what is called a RAP projectile meening "Ring Airfoil Projectile" and it is 64mm in diameter filled with a chemical substance known as tear gas. Upon impact it breaks a membrain on the projectile. For demonstration purposes it is filled with baby powder. There is information about the design features of the RAP on the web. I was given the ( one of a kind) weapon to test and develop repair velocity and function aspects. My paper is close to being completed and in the publishers rap.... pun intended.  ;D

The second weapon is in fact a smaller (hand held) version of what the military is currently using. It's basically what the DOJ calls the RAY gun that emits a microwave towards a centuralized object, or subject. Cooking hot dogs at 50' is kinda cool.

I get paid to test and anylize this stuff.... woo as me  ;D

Ok, back to cool pictures from members of this forum who do such a great job.... much talent here.

But.... one last one... Me with my best "Ok Punk....Make My Day Face"

There's this dog that lives in the house behind us. Don't know her name but she barks a lot close to when the sun is going down. A few months ago I poked through the bushes and wedged my way over this brick wall to check it out and its this cool lab.
I don't think anyone plays with it much so I cut a spot out of all the trees and vines and started to visit a few days a week. Just barely able to climb up and lean over to pet her and stuff. She whines and seems so lonely so I've been going pretty regularly. Some times I don't and I can hear her barking for me. so I go out in the dark. She's always there waiting for me. We have this routine. I pet her for a bit while she struggles to reach up as high as she can. Once she gets tired enough about five minutes she falls down and runs away to get a ball or an orange or something to play with. When she gets back she gives it to me and I toss it and we play fetch for a while. Yesterday she found and brought me this huge piece of leather. We ripped it to shreds playing tug o war. I finally convinced my wife to check her out so we both squeezed up and leaned over the wall. She watched as me and the dog went through our greeting. Eventually my wife  said we should go and get a ball for her. I told her that we didn't need to and to wait cuz the dog has stuff that she will go get. Well she ran away and came back alright but this time she brought this dead squirrel! I almost reached down to play tug o war thinking it was a rubber toy. My wife got grossed out and left. And I went and got my camera.
Look how proud she is!  more pics

I think it's a girl dog, I never really looked. Do girl dogs bring prizes too?
That was the first thing my wife said. That we should kidnap her. :) I don't know the neighbor and we are still getting over the loss of our own dog so we aren't ready to kidnap yet.  Anyway don't worry, I'll keep visiting her.  ;D
